PERTH AMBOY – Santa and Mrs. Claus had fun with students from Perth Amboy schools during the annual Selfies with Santa celebration on Smith Street. Santa and Mrs. Claus cruised through the downtown shopping area in a gold-tone, motorized sleigh, which was operated by members of the city’s Recreation Department. Officers from the Police Department helped guide the sleigh through traffic, and they assisted Santa, Mrs. Claus, Randolph the Reindeer and their friends when the group stopped to pose for selfies with residents, shoppers and store owners. Selfies with Santa is presented by the City of Perth Amboy, its Business Improvement District (BID), P.A.R.T.N.E.R, and Mayor Wilda Diaz.
