PERTH AMBOY – Lorenzo Cardona, “Zoe”, recording and mix engineer, has been nominated for “Record Of The Year” for his work on the hit single “Rockstar” that reached 7x Platinum in 2018 after being released on September 15, 2017.
Now the 4th most played song of all time on Spotify, “Rockstar” now holds the record for longest No. 1 run on Spotify’s Global chart, with 108 days on top. The song also spent eight weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, owning largely to the contributions of its producers and recording/mix engineers.
Lorenzo Cardona, “Zoe” started in his hometown of Perth Amboy as a young drummer, eventually leading his high school drum line to win NJ state championships. After graduating William Paterson University, Zoe pursued a professional career as a recording and mixing engineer and continues to work independently and as the house engineer at Quad Studios in Manhattan.
