Kudos to all of Perth Amboy’s School Crossing Guards who are outside in all kinds of weather to serve and protect not only the children but also the not-so-speedy citizens like myself who might otherwise end up as hood ornaments! Thank you!!!!!

Crying for Amazon

Looks like New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) and his crying Democrats want Amazon to reconsider by coming back to New York City. But wait, it was said by someone that Amazon pays no federal taxes and those workers won’t be unionized workers for Amazon. Yes, it’s true Amazon pays no federal taxes, but it brings money into the local economy and sales tax. For some of us commentators that understand how business is done in America it all comes down to “Pay to Play”. Let me put it this way: New York City needs Amazon.

Below Drinking Water Standards

A very important question to our Mayor and Luis Perez Jimenez. We the “Tax People” in Perth Amboy would like to know why did it take from 1/7/19 until 2/26/19 to notify us that the water we use daily was “below” drinking water standard?

Is it any wonder why so many people are leaving town, and no one wants to move into our City!!

I believe our recent water bill payments should be returned to us – it will help pay for the doctor visits several of us had to pay for G.I. problems.
