PERTH AMBOY – The Annual Reenactment of the Arrest of Royal Governor William Franklin was performed at the Proprietary House, 149 Kearny Ave., Perth Amboy on 6/9/19. Kurt Epps as William Franklin, Jim Kurzenberger as Andrew Lazenby, the Butler (Narrator), Rob Dickerson as Colonel Nathaniel Heard, Nicole Hoyas as Lady Elizabeth Downes Franklin, Anton Massopust III as Joshua Briggs, Militiaman, Tony Sattilaro as Philip Stratton, Militiaman, Rob Meyer, Rich Serfass and the Sons of the American Revolution as Other Militiamen. 

This year’s performance was dedicated to the memory of the late Gene Hoyas, who for many years portrayed the role of Colonel Nathaniel Heard during the annual performance of Governor Franklin’s arrest.
