EDISON –  On November 18, 2019, at 12:30 p.m. the Edison AARP Chapter #3446  will hold its monthly meeting at the Edison Elks, 375 Old Post Road, Edison. (Subsequent meetings are held the third Monday of each month.)

This month we look forward to entertainment by the Belle Choir, who will perform many of our holiday favorites.

November is the month we collect new unwrapped holiday gifts for the veterans in the Menlo Park Veterans Home. Gifts could include: Room decorations such as clocks (batteries should be separate); Baseball Caps; Sweat pants; team logo shirts; Socks, especially diabetic socks; Religious items; Slippers; Lotions; shampoo; manicure sets; perfume; Books and cd’s.

We continue with our monthly food drive which is donated to the Middlesex County Food Bank. When shopping, please keep Thanksgiving in mind. Our chapter regularly provides about 300 pounds of food each month.
