PERTH AMBOY – Hackensack Meridian Raritan Bay Medical Center is pleased to announce it was awarded an ‘A’ from The Leapfrog Group’s spring 2020 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Guide. This designation recognizes hospitals for efforts to protect patients from harm and provide safer health care.

The Leapfrog Group, a Washington, D.C.-based national nonprofit organization, is committed to improving health care quality and safety for consumers and purchasers. Developed under the guidance of an Expert Panel, the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade uses 28 measures of publicly available hospital safety data twice per year.
The Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades are calculated by top patient safety experts, peer-reviewed, fully transparent, and free to the public.
