PERTH AMBOY – Last Saturday was one of the busiest at the Perth Amboy St. Vincent dePaul Food Pantry. Megan Goodwin continued her project of giving out presents to the children who had birthdays this month. We received from McFoods County Warehouse, 100 cases of fruits and vegetables and 50 cases of milk that the volunteers distributed to 351 families along with the regular bags of groceries.  We gave out a record of over 8000 lbs. of food. Carlos Capellan from State Farm Insurance, Caldwell, donated 200 bags of cereal and helped with the distribution. LeeAnn Leathem and KG Brown, have been doing the registrations every Saturday since the onset of the covid virus. As you can see from the pictures, our volunteers did an outstanding job of providing supplemental food to our needy families.
