PERTH AMBOY – The Building Our Future Team has information available for citizens of Perth Amboy for the 2020 Perth Amboy Board of Education election. Candidates on the November ballot are R.L Anderson, Lisett Lebron, Dianne Roman, and Marlenis Rosa. All candidates are running for full terms.

The Building Our Future hosted their socially distant announcement on Tuesday, August 18th, at Bayview Park among family, friends, and supporters. Each candidate shared their personal statement to serve on the Perth Amboy Board of Education as one of the most meaningful contributions a citizen can make to their community. Anderson, Lebron, Roman and Rosa have the collaborative skills and demonstrated capacities in education, community organizing, health and social services, and child and family services in their field of expertise and experience. They shared their vision for student achievement and excellence through:

Academic growth Increased graduation rates

Open communication and collaborations with faculty, staff, and stakeholders Fiscal responsibility

Respecting the Oath of a Board of Education Member

The Perth Amboy Board of Education will have 4 vacancies in the November 3, 2020. A full term on the school board runs for three years. The election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
