Concerns About Covid Numbers in Perth Amboy

OEM Coordinator/Deputy Police Chief Larry Cattano

PERTH AMBOY – As reported by OEM Coordinator and Deputy Chief Larry Cattano, Covid numbers in the last ten days are rising in Perth Amboy. Cattano stated that In the last 10 days, there have been 50 new cases of Covid reported in Perth Amboy. That has brought the number up to 2,527 people who have tested positive. The total number of  deaths are 137. There have been some cases of juveniles under the age of 10 testing positive for Covid, and some young adults. We’re not sure if it’s children infecting the adult or vice-versa. We saw 10 new cases in one day, a number which we have not had in months. Now, the flu season is coming up, and it’s even more important to get a flu shot and other important inoculations that you may need. Please consult your health care provider.
