PERTH AMBOY – Resolution R-475-11/20 proclaiming: In recognition of Anton J. Massopust, the lives he touched, all the good works he performed in and for our community we name this day, November 23rd, on the occasion of his birth, “Anton J. Massopust Day in Perth Amboy” and let it forever be known as such from this day forward. This proclamation was presented to the Massopust family at the 11/23/20 Council Meeting. It is a beautiful tribute to a man who made a great difference in the lives of so many in our city, especially the youth. He was a wonderful teacher and leader, also engaging in fire-fighting and first-aid, among other contributions to our city.
