LOOKING BACK

PERTH AMBOY – The Hibernians on Brace Avenue. The Hibernians were originally located on New Brunswick Avenue. The Hibernians of Perth Amboy were established by Patrick Burke Sr., who was an immigrant from Ireland. Burke also broke in the horses for the city. About 120 years later, his great grandson R.J. Kawka Jr. will hopefully carry it on. BUILDING FUND DONATIONS NEEDED. Happy St. Patrick’s Day!                                    *Photo Courtesy of AOH Archives
