April 22 is Earth Day! Water pollution causes a serious threat to our local wildlife and our wellbeing! This program will bring awareness to the impact water pollution has right here in our town. Don’t miss this engaging program!
Take-home crafts are going green this month too! Stop in April 19-30 to grab a recycled art craft kit. You never know what you’ll get because we are handing out a little bit of everything. Get creative and see what you can make!
The Library will be presenting a unique and engaging Virtual Exhibit in April. Joined by Suzanne Ryan, a small business owner and Victorian era expert, the Virtual Exhibit will dive into a lesser-known history subject. Suzanne will be displaying her extensive mourning jewelry collection and explaining the history behind the different pieces. Watch virtually on YouTube but then stop into the library to see the collection in person! The in-house exhibit will run through April.
Watch this program along with our many other fun and informative virtual programs on the Dowdell Library YouTube channel. You can find a link to the most current videos at Dowdell.org or search the Sadie Pope Dowdell Library on YouTube.
