HACKENSACK – Hackensack University Medical Center is proud to announce the birth of Baby Hawkensack, born on the roof of our Medical Center on May 7, 2021, two weeks ago today.

Team members anxiously watched for and awaited the newest member of our Hackensack University Medical Center family from a window overlooking the nest that mom and dad Hawkensack assembled in anticipation of their special delivery.

Having learned that red tailed hawks, like these, stay strongly attached to their nesting territory, we look forward to the Hawkensack Family being with us for some time.

As you can see from photos, both mother and baby are doing well. We hope you will help spread the news of the arrival of this fuzzy bundle bringing so much joy to our team members after one tough year.
