Library Gingerbread House Competition 2021!!

Woodbridge Library Staff departments are competing for your vote for the best Library Gingerbread House 2021! Enter by e-mail for a chance to win Downtown Dollars, which are gift certificates that can be used in a variety of Woodbridge Main Street stores. The contest begins Monday, December 13, at 1 pm–the link will be active to vote virtually by Monday evening, December 13. Downtown Dollars will be awarded to lucky voters by e-mail on December 21st! FamilySearch.org: Getting the Most of a Free Genealogy Resource

One of the largest free genealogy websites, FamilySearch.org contains a massive global collection of records and resources. This program will tour the site as well as provide search tips and techniques for navigation of the main components (searching and browsing records, digital library, research wiki, and family trees). For Teens & Parents: Join us on Zoom to explore the complex world of need-based and merit based financial aid. Parents and students will learn strategies for lowering their EFC (Expected Family Contribution), the new FAFSA rules, and tips for optimizing college admissions and scholarships.
