City Moves Forward with Plans for Waterfront Improvements

PERTH AMBOY – The Business Administrator reported what will be done on the Waterfront. The City accepted the proposal by the engineering firm of Hatch Mott MacDonald. The amount was not to exceed $399,000 for these improvements. The firm will continue to do improvements on the damaged areas of the Waterfront.

The work includes the South Pier, the Harbor and River Walk, insulation of bulkheads, seawalls and railings. Installation of sand dunes is also part of the package.
