PERTH AMBOY – Mayor Wilda Diaz and the Office of Recreation encourage all to enjoy their Fall festivities and to remind all parents and children to be safe this weekend.
“We want to make sure all of our children enjoy this time with their families, but that their also safe. With everyone’s cooperation we can all celebrate a season of fun-filled activities,” said Mayor Wilda Diaz.
The Perth Amboy Police Department has requested the cooperation of local businesses in preventing criminal mischief on October 29th, 30th and 31st, by not selling markers, eggs, soap and shaving cream to anyone under the age of 18.
Also, for resident safety, the Police Department has advised anyone under the age of 17, unless accompanied by a parent, to stay indoors after 6:00 p.m. on October 30th and 31st.

Kid’s Halloween Dance – Wednesday, October 30th, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m., Alexander F. Jankowski Community Center, 1 Olive Street, Pre- registration Required ($5.00), Pet Halloween Costume Contest – Hosted by the Perth Amboy Animal Shelter Thursday, October 31st 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Perth Amboy Animal Shelter (foot of Fayette Street, near Shoprite) 597 Fayette Street Seniors Halloween Party – Wednesday, October 31st – 10:30 a.m. Office on Aging- Call to Register: 732- 826-1690 ext. 4326 or 4307 Alexander F.
