PERTH AMBOY – Four Students from Perth Amboy Catholic School were winners in the “ Be Smart About Medicine” Creative Expression Contest sponsored by the Coalition for Healthy Communities, NCADD of Middlesex County. The 4th Annual Coalition Dinner was held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Middlesex County College in Edison, N.J. Ms. Linda Surks, Coalition Coordinator and Mr. Steve Liga, Executive Director & CEO presented the awards to Lizbeth Nunez, Grade 8, 3rd place and to the 7th Grade winners, Alyssa Sierra, 1st, Antonio Feliciano, 2nd and Jazmin Genao, 3rd place.

The judges for the contest were Mr. Paul Grzella, General Manager/Editor, Home News Tribune, Ms. Rachelle Burk, Children’s Author & Entertainer and Mr. Steve Liga, Executive Director & CEO, NCADD of Middlesex County. The students attended the Award Ceremony with their parents and siblings, Sr. Rebecca Piatek, Principal, Rose Pennyfeather, Art Teacher and Librarian, Sr. Dorothy Sajczuk.
