FORDS – Today Mrs. Kristin MsGowan’s 1st grade class at Our Lady of Peace School in Fords is working on a service project for the community. Mrs. McGowan has teamed up with a teacher friend who works in New Hampshire. She is working with the United War Veterans Council to deliver Valentine’s Day Cards to our Wounded Warriors. Last year she collected 1, 000 cards to send, and her goal this year is 1, 250. She has teachers from all over the country helping with this project. Mrs. McGowan and her 1st grade is helping her to achieve this goal and they are so excited to send their cards to the Veteran’s and to be part of this great cause!       *Photo Submitted
