PERTH AMBOY – On Sunday, March 16, 2014, Historic St. Peter’s Church of Perth Amboy, NJ (183 Rector St.) will be hosting the University of Pittsburgh’s Men’s Glee Club as a guest choir during the 10 a.m. Choral Eucharist and for a short concert of both sacred and secular songs following the service. This is the last stop on the Glee Club’s exciting 2014 tour of the tri-state area, including several performances in New York City.
This wonderful opportunity to hear a world-class men’s choir is free and open to the public. All are invited and welcome. A freewill offering will be taken to benefit the Glee Club’s tour, and CD’s will be available at the door. The service begins at 9:50 a.m. with preludes and other special music, followed by a short pause to allow people to come in for the concert. The concert begins 11:45 a.m.
