PERTH AMBOY – Edison Jaquez, a young and inspirational NJ based entrepreneur, serves as a mentor and motivational speaker dedicated to educate and bring community members together. After his recent success with B-Men, a youth mentoring program geared towards today’s inner city men 17 and older, Jaquez launched BYOUtiful, targeted towards Perth Amboy’s at-risk youth females, on March 4.

BYOUtiful, a 10 week mentoring program led by CEO Jennifer Torres and founder Jaquez, addresses the needs of young ladies and is aimed to educate and create positive influences. Torres, alongside a group of dedicated professional volunteers, will work with at-risk female youth age 14 and older in a non-traditional setting.

Classes will vary week to week and include topics such as building character, self esteem, finding your inner beauty as well as financial management, college preparation, interviewing skills and much more.

Recruitment is ongoing. Classes will be held on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s from 6-8 p.m. at the Renovation House located at 200 Jefferson Street, Perth Amboy, NJ. There is a fee of $5.00 per class. Launch Date: March 4, 6 p.m.
