PERTH AMBOY – On Saturday, March 8, the author Minou Tavares Mirabal will visit the Saturday Morning Family School to celebrate International Women’s Day.  Mirabal is the daughter of Minerva Mirabal, a courageous freedom and women’s rights fighter, who was assassinated by the Dominican dictator Rafael L. Trujillo, and is one of the three sisters depicted in the movie, ” In the Time of the Butterflies.”
