Warning: IRS Warns of Pervasive Telephone Scam

Beware of a telephone scam targeting taxpayers saying they owe money to the IRS and must be paid promptly through a pre-loaded debit card or wire transfer. Report and forward that email to phishing@irs.gov. For how to report phishing scams involving IRS, go to www.IRS.gov.
