PERTH AMBOY – Maria J. Rivera, Confidential Administrative Secretary to the City Administrator of the City of Perth Amboy has been named one of the National Association of Professional Women for 2014.

Rivera’s expertise is: Public Service, Human Resources, Recruiting, Payroll, Workers’ Compensation, Liability Insurance, Occupational Health and Safety and Business Development. Rivera serves as the WC claims administrator, OSHA/RTK coordinator and when needed, the personnel officer under the direction of the AA.

Rivera also serves in the insurance claims and safety committee, emergency management committee, waterfront reconstruction and redevelopment committee. Rivera is the past president of the White Collar Union Local 2270.
