PERTH AMBOY – A resident of Harbortown Sails gave an update to the Council at the 4/23/14 meeting as to what was going on, “The builder refuses to give us (the Board) control of the Homeowners Association. We’re being drained of funds, making our own repairs and there are no Carbon-Monoxide detectors. People are abandoning the units.”
B.A. Greg Fehrenbach said, “Sometimes problems in one unit can cause problems in adjacent units. Both owners have to agree to get repair work done.”
Fehrenbach also commented at the 4/21/14 Caucus Meeting about the problems that the Landings Residents are still having. “One of the parties (from the Kushner Group) is impossible to get in contact with. Some walls at the Landings were damaged by engineers hired by the homeowners. Mr. Gershwin from Westminister Homes tried to resolve some of the problems with the Landings Buildings and got a tongue-lashing by his superiors.”
Comments had been made at several meetings by residents who complained the Landings problems were not getting as much attention as the Harbortown problems.
