New Perth Amboy Historic Documentary

#2E - BBBB

Press Release
PERTH AMBOY – Did you know that one of the world’s great art masterpieces was completed in Perth Amboy? It is a landscape painting by the world famous artist George Inness named “Peace & Plenty.”  And if you already knew this, then how about the people, the times & the circumstances surrounding the creation of this masterpiece?

Our new documentary, “George Inness: Peace & Plenty In Perth Amboy,” takes an in depth look at all of this, as well as mid-19th century Perth Amboy.

Over 175 different sources, including three years of extensive research have gone into this production. Museums & archives from across the United States have participated with us to bring this long forgotten story forward. Hundreds of rare Perth Amboy images are presented within our film. Some of these images haven’t seen the light of day in well over 100 years.

If you have enjoyed our other works, such as Dr. Solomon Andrews 1806-1872, Perth Amboy Terracotta, Eagleswood Rediscovered, The KKK Riots of 1923, or Exploring Historic Perth Amboy, then we think you will find our Inness Project equally interesting.

Our documentary will be aired on Comcast Channel 34. Please check the station’s schedule for times & dates. Tune in & enjoy!
