PERTH AMBOY – Raritan Bay Medical Center’s Center for Balance is sponsoring a free Balance Screening and Physician Q&A event during National Fall Prevention Week on Wednesday, October 1, 5 to 6:30 p.m., at the medical center’s Old Bridge location, 3 Hospital Plaza, Suite 313,  Old Bridge, NJ.

Falls are the number one cause of accidental death and hospital admission for adults 65 and older.  Balance screening and treatment can prevent falling, those who frequently feel dizzy or if objects appear to bounce while walking can benefit from treatment.  Neurologist Dr. Farooq Rehman, Co-Medical Director of the Center for Balance will be at the event to answer attendees’ questions.  For more information and to register, call 732-324-5030.
