Moving Business Forward: a business-networking event presented by the Central Jersey Latino Chamber of Commerce (CJLCC)

Perth Amboy – The Central Jersey Latino Chamber of Commerce (CJLCC) will hold a business-networking event. Thurs., October 23, 2014 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Santander Bank, 210 Smith St., Perth Amboy. Perth Amboy’s Mayor There will be an introduction by Perth Amboy Mayor Wilda Diaz, who remains the only elected Latina mayor in NJ. Guest Speakers include Mr. Robert Montemayor, Pulitzer prize winning lecturer and Rutgers Professor, Mr. Abraham Lopez, Exec. Dir. of the NJ Ctr. for Hispanic Policy, Research and Dev. (NJCHPRD), a role he was named to by Gov. Chris Christie and Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno in 3/11.

Mr. Sanchez, Board Pres. and CEO for 360 Staffing Agency of Perth Amboy says, “the current economic climate in NJ is very much on all of our minds as we near the end of 2014. We’ll discuss Latino trends, demographic and economic data and available resources for our businesses.” Guests will have the opportunity to meet CJLCC Board members and consider a membership into the organization.
