Should Perth Amboy Report on All Lawsuits Filed Against the City?
Dear Councilman Gonzalez:
I believe we have met in the past–I am an open government advocate who has contributed ideas to the City Council in the past. Attached is a proposed amendment to the City Code which would put two new items on each meeting agenda–one would require a report of all new lawsuits filed against the City or its employees and the other would require a report after any such lawsuit settles or otherwise comes to a conclusion.
I think that enacting these changes would be a positive move because it would provide both the Council and the public with more information so that City officials’ actions could be more closely monitored and evaluated.
Do you think that this is something you’d be willing to introduce?

Preserving Our Republic
There is a hidden danger to our republic that has been growing like a cancer over the past decades: dynastic succession. A hereditary succession will seldom be as good as a person who is selected on their merits and talents.
The way to prevent this is to pass a Constitutional Amendment that would prohibit anyone from running for President if they are the spouse or ex-spouse, son or daughter, brother or sister, nephew or niece of a President.
Banning anyone over the age of 65 from running for President should prevent a senile candidate who campaigns on his or her good looks, helped by the usual lies in the corporate media.
