As the warm weather is headed our way, Scout Branden Lenahan decided to start Project Beach Sweep. Branden is a Scout in Troop #91 and wants to make the beach something to be proud of again. About 100 volunteers came out with rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, and trash bags in hand to clean up the beach. Mayor and Mrs. Fred Henry were hard at work helping the volunteers with the project. South Amboy has a beautiful bay area with fishing, a beach and park for all to enjoy. It was a fun day for all!
