PERTH AMBOY – Local elected officials of New York and New Jersey gathered once more to reiterate the need for structural updates to the Outerbridge Crossing, a concern that was first made public in Staten Island, NY on April 20th.
They highlighted the need for major improvements to the Outerbridge Crossing, and again calling on the Port Authority to commence an Environmental Impact Study for the potential project.
Mayor Wilda Diaz was joined by Assemblyman John Wisniewski of the 19th New Jersey Legislative District; Chief of Staff, Joe Shikhman of Assemblyman-Elect Ron Castorina’s Office; and Deputy Chief Lawrence Cattano of the Perth Amboy Police Department.
