Advisory: Code Blue Shelter Open in Perth Amboy on Monday, Feb. 12

The Office of Emergency Management has announced a “Code Blue” in the City of Perth Amboy.  A shelter has been designated for the public for tonight due to low temperatures:

The Alexander F. Jankowski Community Center, located at 1 Olive Street, will be open overnight tonight, Monday, February 12 from 8 PM until 8 AM.

If anyone sees a person who needs help, they are urged to call the Perth Amboy Police Department at 732-442-4400.  If needed, transportation will be provided by local emergency responders.

The shelter at Olive Street is open to City residents.  This is not a County shelter.
