“The 1683 Society Coffee House was a great success”, stated John Dyke, a 1683S Trustee.”We packed the Proprietary House and the EMKAYS performed two wonderful sets of fine music!”  In addition, the 1762 era colonial vault proved to have fine acoustics. All proceeds were donated to the Proprietary House Association, a nonprofit organization. The 1683 Society is a neighborhood nonprofit group working for the betterment of its waterfront area.
