This program is designed to empower participants 18 years of age or older to make wellness an important part of their lifestyle. It combines the principles and practice of Tai Chi and Qigong with free flowing movements that are easy to do, yet very effective in calming your mind, relaxing your body and balancing the emotions.
Tai Chi was originally taught as a high level martial art but is now practiced slowly and gently for its numerous wellness benefits. Qigong (energy skill) exercises are single, repetitive movements that are both easy to learn and are the foundational basis for quality Tai Chi practice and promoting health. These principles include correct posture, stability, balance and coordination, which can be applied into all of your activities of daily living.
