Eileen Roemer

SOUTH AMBOY – Gregory Scharpf, Amboy Bank President and CEO, recently announced the hiring of a new officer and the promotion of another. Joseph Cascella is joining the bank as Chief Credit Officer, and Eileen Roemer has been promoted to Chief Financial Officer.

Scharpf said, “We are pleased to appoint two dedicated professionals to these leadership roles. Both individuals bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to their respective leadership roles. We look forward to developing and strengthening our position in the industry, and I am confident in the continued growth and success of our customers under this new leadership.”

Joseph Cascella was most recently a Vice President, Senior Credit Officer and Director of Credit and Portfolio Management at BCB Community Bank. He earned his Bachelor of Science, Mathematics and Secondary Education at the State University of New York College at New Paltz. He currently resides in Hazlet, NJ. 

Eileen Roemer first joined Amboy Bank in 1997. She most recently served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer before being promoted to Chief Financial Officer. Roemer studied Investments, Economics and Accounting at Rider University. She currently resides in Sayreville, NJ
