PERTH AMBOY – On August 9, 10 and 11, 2019, the Dominican community of Perth Amboy will be celebrating the 156th Anniversary of the Dominican Republic’s Restoration of Independence; this event is organized by The United Dominicans of Perth Amboy (UD of PA) in association with promoter Irving Lozada.

The Festival will take place at the beautiful, scenic and spacious Waterfront “La Playita” in Perth Amboy.

Over 25 musical attractions are set to perform. The musical performances will be highlighted by Peña Suazo, La Banda Gorda, Oro Sólido, Dionis Fernández y El Equipo among others. Festival goers can expect a combination of different rhythms such as merengue, bachata, salsa, reggeton, etc. There will also be food from different cultures, in addition to rides for both children and adults.

We invite the entire community of Perth Amboy and surrounding communities to come and enjoy this great event dedicated for the entire family.

The hours for the event: Friday, August 9 from 5pm to 10pm, Saturday, August 10 from 1:00pm to 10: 00pm & Sunday, August 11 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
