Let us make the bed Cleo!

Perth Amboy- Cleopatra is no ordinary cat. We knew when we adopted her, she was special. She quickly got used to her new home. Cleopatra is a female tuxedo cat. She is all black except for her chest, underbelly, and feet which are white. Her eyes are a gleaming yellow. At night Cleo goes crazy! Knocking over pictures and jumping on chairs. She loves to sleep with any family member – but be willing to give up your pillow. Cleo’s also a traveling cat. She’s been to Myrtle Beach, the Poconos, Maryland, and Atlanta, Georgia. Cat food? What’s that?! Yes, she eats normal cat (wet food), but this cat has eaten anything eatable. Between sneaking mashed potatoes and chicken. She even licked ice cream (when we didn’t look). Cleo had it all! Sometimes Cleo will run outside. But now at one word she walks inside. Cleo is a lovable, friendly, mischievous cat.

A thought: Arguing with reality is as crazy as if we tried to teach a cat to bark and at the end of all our efforts, we were upset when the cat still said, “Meow”.  –  Lent 2020   Love, Jacquelyn
