NEW JERSEY – On Wednesday evening, February 23rd, Paramount Care Centers of New Jersey celebrated a gala evening honoring the outstanding contribution of the African medical profession in the communities of New Jersey.
In tribute to a visionary, who is recognized throughout the world for his efforts on behalf of humanity, Dr. Nelson Aluya received the coveted Paramount Care Centers’ Humanitarian Award. Dr. Aluya has led multiple local and international medical missions providing his expertise and selfless service to low social economic groups and migrant families. As president of the Nigerian American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC), he has been working tirelessly on behalf of the Nigerian peoples here and in his homeland.
Many distinguished colleagues and members of the medical community at large attended the event, attesting to their high regard and admiration of Dr. Aluya. The award was presented by Dassy Schechter, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, who spoke highly of the doctor’s altruistic efforts.
Dr. Aluya was overwhelmed by the accolades and honor and noted in his remarks that “never was something done on this level for his community.” He thanked the administration of Paramount Care Centers profusely for the recognition and expressed deep appreciation for their ongoing collaboration.
