Editorial: Remembering a Quiet Man George Nickolas

If the door was locked to the Barge on Tuesday mornings when I delivered the paper, I knew if I called the restaurant number, George would answer and open the door to let me in. He was always dressed in his white cook’s outfit, ready to prepare some of the meals for the day.
