KKK Riots of 1923

PERTH AMBOY – Channel 34 is rerunning the documentary, The Ku Klux Klan Riots Of 1923.   It is a saga of how the good people of Perth Amboy battled the Ku Klux Klan during June & August of 1923 on the streets of old Perth Amboy.

Against all odds, the citizens of Perth Amboy stood alone against a very powerful 6 million person strong Klan.   Perth Amboy was one of the first communities in the United States to oppose the KKK during a time when the Klan was at its peak.

Check out Channel 34 & Fios 47 at the end of the City Block Of Events, and the estimated daily times are about 10:15am, 2:15pm, & 11:15pm.

It is scheduled to run for the next 5 days.   Please tune in & enjoy a forgotten part of our great history!
