Did you ever hear of a commercial outfit calling on the police to enforce a private debt? Well! It just happened recently. My wife had left her car to be repaired at a local auto repair shop. Before we could pay the bill I questioned a few items. M wife was about to take the care for a test run when the mechanic came out and opened the back door, thus draining the battery and refused to let her test the car. He then called the police. After almost a half hour of we sweltered in the stifling heat risking a stroke or a heart attack!

When the police came they did their usual swell job. They soon realized that this was a civil matter only and soon left. I probably have a good cause of action for holding us prisoner. I am still flabbergasted that this kind of strong arm tactics could exist in this fair city by the bay!
