PERTH AMBOY — Provident Bank has named Perth Amboy resident Margie Diaz banking center manager of the bank’s Perth Amboy branch, where she will lead and manage a team of sales and service professionals, and oversee daily branch operations. Diaz has 15 years of banking industry experience. Before joining Provident, she held various positions at Wells Fargo, including teller manager, customer service specialist and branch manager.
Diaz attended Rio de Janeiro State University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
In addition, Diaz teaches financial literacy in Perth Amboy schools and is active with various non-profit organizations, including Women Aware in New Brunswick, the Puerto Rican Action Board, the American Cancer Society and the CUP Food Pantry at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Spotswood.
