????? , John J. Clark, ?????

Came across a big picture that had used to hang in the family room of my Grandfather’s house on State Street. He was an Alderman for many years. MY grandfather’s name was John J. Clark.

I remember that he ran on the same ticket with Franklin D. Roosevelt. My grandfather is seated but the question I’ve asked many, many people is, “Who are the two men standing to his left & right?”

This has to be in the early thirties. I remember my Mom saying that Frank Dorsey was Mayor and Alterman at large was John N. Watser. the only 2 of 6 Alterman that I can recall was Albert G. Waters (Hey!!!! Waters Stadium????) and Thomas years (maybe they were related)

Got picture cut down for Guardian. Thought that some Old Timer might recognize the two men standing with GrandPop. (Hopefully)

Take Care,

Tom Francis Clark
