Roberto Poveda returns to Perth Amboy with Brooklyn Nights – July 27

PRESS RELEASE – La Casa de Educacion y Cultura Latina Inc. presents up and coming singer/guitarist Roberto Poveda and Brooklyn Nights, at The Perth Amboy Gallery and Center for the Arts, Perth Amboy, NJ, on July 27, 2013, at 8 P.M.

Cuban born New Yorker, Roberto Poveda, accompanied by Brooklyn Nights, will once again grace us with his soulful voice, compelling lyrics, hip guitar sounds, and Cuban inspired rhythms infused with funky jazz and rock. This brilliant and passionate artist, who has an international following, was recently interviewed and performed on TELEMUNDO TV this month.

Maria Alvarez, director of La Casa says, “Roberto Poveda, is a trend setter in the emerging and evolving Latin music scene. Poveda has the ability to intermix his music with international flavors, which is what makes him hip, modern, and in demand.”

La Casa de Educacion y Cultura Latina Inc. was established for the purpose of preserving, producing and celebrating the shared cultural heritage and values of Latinos throughout New Jersey. They do this by implementing a variety of arts projects that highlight the Latino experience within the context of the performing arts – encompassing dance, music, literary arts, visual arts, folklore and theatre.
