Local Author in Global Christmas Short Story Collection

Press release
SOUTH AMBOY – “A Wish for Christmas” is a collection of twenty stories based around Christmas and New Year from Alfie Dog Fiction. The collection brings together some of the best short stories from 20 authors across the globe including local author Alan Jankowski.

“A Wish for Christmas” contains a mixture of general fiction, feel good stories and romance all based around the holiday season.

Alfie Dog Fiction’s managing director, Rosemary Kind, says, “After the popularity of our summer “beach reads” collections, it made sense to bring out a collection of stories for the festive season. It’s good to take time out to relax amongst the bustle of Christmas preparation and this book gives readers the opportunity to enjoy the best of the spirit of Christmas at the same time.”

The collection has an international flavor, not only through the spread of the writers but the fascinating backdrops to the stories. Within the pages the reader will travel from China to America, Australia to Europe, while the stories range from the moving to the amusing, the romantic to the tussle of family life.

Alan, who lives in South Amboy, is the award-winning author of well over one hundred short stories, plays and poems. His stories have been published online and in various journals. His poetry has more recently become popular, and his 9-11 Tribute poem was used extensively in ceremonies starting with the tenth anniversary of this tragic event.

The collection will be available as download and in paperback from Nov. 18 with the download priced from just $2.99 and can be bought direct through www.alfiedog.com or through Amazon and other leading online retailers.

Alfie Dog Fiction specializes in publishing short stories for download as well as in book form, and has over 1,200 stories on its website www.alfiedog.com, in multiple formats to suit most readers.
