Don Bosco Prep Announces Area Honor Roll Students

Perth Amboy Youth Honored for Academic Achievement During 2013-2014 School Year

RAMSEY, N.J – Don Bosco Prep has announced the students who have been named to the Honor Roll for the second marking period of the 2013- 2014 school year.

“Students who achieve Honor status are recognized for their outstanding academic performance,” said Principal John Stanczak. “We are proud that so many of our students have earned this designation, and applaud their dedication, hard work and commitment to excellence.”

The following grade averages must be maintained to be placed on the honor roll: Principal’s List requires a weighted average of 96 with no grade below 93; First Honors requires a weighted average of 93 with no grade below 90; and Second Honors requires a weighted average of 90 with no grade below 85. All of the students listed have achieved Second Honors level or above.

Marcus Valdez of Perth Amboy, a freshman, has earned First Honors.

Don Bosco Prep, founded in 1915, is a private, Catholic college preparatory high school for young men, grades 9 through 12. Dedicated to empowering young men, the school provides rigorous academics at the AP, honors and college prep levels, and encourages participation in extracurricular activities, clubs, athletics and arts.
