When Christie came to our fair city before he ran for governor he had the highest regard and respect. We regarded him as a knight on a white horse who slew the many corrupt dragons. Although we had to stretch our imagination to find a horse big and strong enough to carry him.

Now we see a complete about face beginning with his first term as governor. Instead of concentrating on his duties as governor to make this a better state he became totally obsessed with running for president. He appointed his loyal followers and stooges to important jobs on the Port Authority. Their incompetency led to Bridge Gate! He claims no responsibility at all for this debacle! And his old law firm comes up with a whitewash statement at a cost to the taxpayers of one million dollars! Now the total bill to us taxpayers is over six million bucks! What about his Lt. Governor? Where was she? The buck sure does not stop with this guy! The fact that he claims he knew nothing about these “traffic studies” from September to January shows he was grossly negligent! This alone should hang him! Christie is much more of a showman in the style of Jackie Gleason’s Ralph Kramden of the Honeymooners; a good showman campaigner but a lousy executive! God Bless America!
