PERTH AMBOY – Benjamin Franklin enriched the Christmas Tours, of The Royal Mansion, on Sunday, 12/21/14. The Mansion, was decorated by the Royal Garden Club of Perth Amboy to the enjoyment to all that came. Located at 149 Kearny Ave, Perth Amboy N.J.
Franklin’s Royal Governor’s Mansion is the last Royal Governor’s Mansion left in our country from the original 13 Colonies. William Franklin, the Royal Governor of New Jersey and son to Benjamin Franklin, resided at the mansion. Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, British General Cornwallis & British Commander Howe, among other notables of the Revolutionary War, all spent time inside the Mansion.
