PERTH AMBOY – There was a discussion pertaining to the approval of Warning Order LLC to provide a 1-day Physical Restraint System Training  at the 1/7/15 BOE Meeting.  This course is for all new administrators and security personnel. There is also a 2 hour refresher course for previously trained individuals. The training officer, Mr. Wolff was present at the meeting.

Wolff stated, “Sometimes administrators and security personnel have to put hands on students or parents. This course teaches how it can be done in a safe and practical manner in a school environment. The refresher is necessary every one year because if you don’t use these skills, you tend to forget what to do. Every officer is certified. It is in your best interest to have this class. Every Principal, Vice-Principal and Security Personnel has to undergo training. Teachers are not trained.”
