RAHWAY – On Sat., June 13, prior to Chess Mates’ Dr. Luzviminda Machan Open, Michael O’Connor will be giving a lecture on and a simultaneous exhibition with the Smith-Morra Gambit. From 10 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. Michael will be showing you how he defeated National Masters with the Smith-Morra, covering IM Mark Esserman’s critical Nd5 sacrifice, and giving you the opportunity to take the Black side of this dangerous Anti-Sicilian Defense weapon against him.

The cost to view the lecture and participate in the simul in $5.00 for Chess mates members and $10.00 for non-members. Donuts and coffee are included!
