TurkeyPerth Amboy – Ultimate Possibilities (U.P.), a local community activist group, will hold its 3rd Annual Thanksgiving Turkey Drive & Donation on Monday, November 21, 2015 at the Brighton Avenue Community Center in Perth Amboy.  The group tapped into the Boys & Girls Club of Perth Amboy to provide volunteers from their after school programs to assist with the turkey distribution and to collect canned goods.  The organizations are aiming to distribute a total of 100 turkeys and a bag of groceries, to local families to ensure that they have food on their tables this Thanksgiving.

“We at Ultimate Possibilities are honored to be able to bring a little joy to those less fortunate with our Turkey Drive and Donation.  Everyone in our organization has roots in Perth Amboy, and we are both humbled and pleased by the outpouring of public support we have received throughout the years” said Damon Clark, U.P. spokesperson.  Once again we are seeking the help of the Perth Amboy Community.  We invite you to drop off a turkey and/or non-perishable Thanksgiving sides (rice, beans, canned yams, boxed potatoes, etc.) to the Brighton Avenue Community Center at 56 Brighton Avenue on November 19th between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. and to Perth Amboy Youth Complex at 1 Dorothy Avenue on November 19th from 11am – 2 pm.  Monetary donations which will be used to buy additional turkeys and groceries can also be made on www.gofundme.com/UPTurkeyDrive.

Ultimate Possibilities and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Perth Amboy will distribute the turkeys and groceries to Perth Amboy families which will be identified by local schools, churches and community organizations.  If you would like to recommend a family please contact Ultimate Possibilities’ Channon Johnson at 732-423-6865.
